Appeal for new home for Hannah

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for Hannah a three-year-old Staffie cross who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

Her carers say the beautiful girl loves nothing more than being with people, getting lots of cuddles or sitting on your knee.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Hannah is very loving and super playful, her favourite game is chasing after her ball and then catching it.

“She would like an owner who has owned Staffie types before and as she can be worried by children, she does need to live in a quiet adult-only home.

“She does not like other dogs and would need to be walked in quiet rural areas and to be the only pet in the house.

“Hannah would love her own secure garden where she can spend time off her lead with her family, in her own safe haven.

“She prefers a peaceful life where she can enjoy her owners’ company, she loves her food and is always partial to a bit of toast in the morning for her breakfast. Hannah is house-trained, happy to be left alone for short periods of time and does enjoy going for on adventures in the car.”

If you think you can offer Hannah or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming please contact the centre on 01506 873459. You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on Twitter @DT_WestCalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming. Please look at the Dogs Trust website for access during the coronavirus outbreak.
