Appeal for missing St Helens man, 59

**UPDATE - 8.45AM FRIDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER**

Merseyside police spokesperson said: "Thanks to everyone who shared our appeal to find missing David Donnelly from St Helens. He has now been found safe. Sharing our appeals really does make a difference."

Merseyside Police have issued an appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 59-year old David Donnelly.

David went missing from his home in Moss Bank, St Helens, on Wednesday (September 15) at around 8:30pm.

He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, extremely thin, unshaven with unkempt short brown hair, and blue eyes. Unfortunately police don't have a photo of David to share.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
