Appeal for missing sausage dog puppy Flo, who ran off across a dual carriageway

A desperate owner is appealing for help to find and rescue a tiny sausage dog who is lost and running around a dual carriageway in Bristol.

Claire Ham’s beloved chocolate and tan sausage dog Flo was spooked by a bigger dog on a walk around Greville Smyth Park in Ashton Gate on Tuesday evening, and ran off out of the park and up on to the main A3029 Brunel Way.

There were numerous sightings of her on the edge of Ashton Park and along the dual carriageway towards the Winterstoke junction and Babcock, as the terrified little puppy ran in and out of traffic.

Claire is asking motorists on the Brunel Way dual carriageway and Winterstoke Road junction to slow down and keep an eye out for the puppy.

“Flo is just eight months old and she got scared by a bigger dog and just ran,” said Claire.

“That was at about 6.30pm and we searched all night for him. There were sightings of him up on the dual carriageway, and we’re desperate to get him back,” said Claire.

If anyone sees Flo they should call Claire on 07974121099.
