Concerns have been raised for a man who hasn't been seen since Wednesday afternoon.

Stephen Kane was last seen around 5.05pm in Carntyne, on Cardowan Road at its junction with Inveresk Street.

Police say they are concerned for the 40-year-old's health and wellbeing and are appealing for anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.

Stephen is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of muscular build, with bald shaved head, bushy eye brows and blue eyes.

He is believed to be wearing a grey hooded jumper, black/blue jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Sergeant Erik Work, of Glasgow London Road Police Station, said: “We are very concerned for Stephen's health and wellbeing.

“Anyone who has seen Stephen or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland immediately via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 2526 of 16 September.”
