Appeal for missing man, 30, last seen close to train station

*Update: David Pegg has now been found safe and well, reports Merseyside police

Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing Wirral man.

Officers are reporting David Pegg missing from his home in Wirral but he was last spotted on Reeds Lane, close to Leasowe train station, at 10am on Friday, December 17.

The 30-year-old is described as being 6ft 2in tall, of medium build, with short dark brown hair and a beard.

He has a distinctive tribal design tattoo and a circular tattoo on his left arm.

A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We are appealing for help in finding a 30 year-old man who is missing from home in Wirral.

"David Pegg, was last seen on Reeds Lane, close to Leasowe train station, at 10am on Friday 17th December.

"He is described as a white male, 6ft 2in tall, of medium build, with short dark brown hair and a beard.

"He has a tribal design tattoo and a circular tattoo on his left arm.

"When last seen he was wearing a grey hooded jacket, black jogging pants, and black shoes.

"He is known to frequent the Wirral area.

"Anyone who has seen David or knows of his whereabouts is asked to DM @MerPolCC or call 101. Sightings can also be submitted via:
