Appeal for missing Derry teenager Conal McCann

A missing person's appeal was launched on Wednesday night amid growing fears for the safety of a teenage boy.

Conal McCann is aged just 17 and when last seen he was wearing a black North Face jacket and black tracksuit bottoms.

He is of slim build, has short brown hair and is around 6ft 1ins tall.

A statement from Police Derry And Strabane on Wednesday night read: "Police in Derry/ Londonderry are growing concerned about the whereabouts of Conal McCann.

"Conal, aged 17, is described as slim, around 6ft 1ins tall with short brown hair. He is likely wearing a black North Face coat and black tracksuit bottoms.

"If you have any information regarding Conal, please contact police on 101 quoting reference 691 14/12/22."
