Appeal for missing Cumbria man believed to be in North East

Concern is growing for the welfare of Fredrick Edgar, a 50-year-old man who hasn't been seen since the beginning of this month.

He was last seen on 1st August on Jubilee Road in Whitehaven but is now believed to be in the North East.

Fredrick is described as 5ft 9ins with short black hair.

Northumbria Police as well as North Yorkshire Police have shared Cumbria Police's appeal to find Fredrick after it was suggested he could be in the North East.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.

Officers would also like to urge Fredrick to contact this number if he sees this appeal.
