Appeal for missing 8-year-old who UK cops believe may be in Dublin

Police in the UK have appealed for information on an 8-year-old boy who they believe may be in Dublin.

Andrei Stoian has gone missing from his home in Wirral, UK, with cops looking across the water it's believed he might be with his mother in the Irish capital.

Merseyside Police sent out a picture of Andrei asking the public to contact their local authority if they believe they have seen him or have any information.

They said: "Please share. Can you help find 8-year-old Andrei Stoian, missing from home in Prenton Wirral.

"We think Andrei is with his mum and may be in Dublin, Ireland. Any sightings contact Merseyside Police call 101 or Missing People on 116 000. Thanks."

Anyone with information in Dublin is urged to contact their local garda station.
