Appeal for info on parcel delivery van stolen from Cabra, north Dublin

An appeal for information on a van stolen from north Dublin has been issued by gardai.

The van, which was on the Glenbeigh Road in Cabra at around 12pm on Monday 9 December, was making a delivery when it was taken.

It had a number of packages inside, and was taken when an unknown person drove it away.

The white Vauxhall van has a registration of 10-MH-11443 and drove in the direction of the Ashtown Gate at Phoenix Park.

Posting the appeal on social media, gardai said: "Gardaí wish to seek information from the public in relation to unauthorised taking of a delivery van which occurred on Monday, 9th December 2019 on Glenbeigh Road, Cabra, Dublin 7 at 12.00pm.

"The van was making a delivery to an address on Glenbeigh Road when an unknown person took the vehicle and drove away. The van contained a number of packages.

"It is believed the white Vauxhall van, with a registration of 10-MH-11443, drove in the direction of the Ashtown Gate, Phoenix Park via either Blackhorse Avenue or the North Road in Phoenix Park, Dublin 7."
