Appeal for help to find missing woman, 60, who 'could be holding teddy bear'

Police have issued an appeal for help to find a missing woman from Leigh.

The woman - named only as Anne - was last seen at around 11.20am yesterday (Wednesday). The 60-year-old was spotted on Ellesmere Street.

Police said she has a 'noticeable limp' and uses a walking stick. She could also be holding a yellow teddy bear, officers added.

Anne was last seen wearing a black coat with a fur hood, some blueish flowery short pants and black sketchers trainers. Police shared a picture of Anne on social media last night as part of an appeal for help to find her.

They said officers were 'becoming increasingly concerned' about her. Anyone who sees her, or who knows where she is, is being urged to get in touch.

Police can be contacted on 101, quoting log number 2034 09/11/2022, or at gmp.police.uk.
