Appeal for help to find missing teen

Police are appealing for help in finding a teenage girl who has gone missing from Paisley.

Teigan Thomson has not been seen since last night when she was in the Love Street area of the town centre.

Officers say the 14-year-old may have travelled in the direction of Ayr and have appealed to anyone who may have seen her to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for information into the whereabouts of Teigan Thomson who has been reported missing from the Paisley area.

“Teigan was last seen in the Love Street area of Paisley around 8:45pm on Friday, October 28.

“Teigan is described as 5ft 4in in height, slim build, blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey jacket, navy blue top and orange slippers.

“It is believed that she may have been heading towards Ayr. She has family connections in the Dumfries and Galloway area.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0016 of October 29.
