Appeal for help in tracing missing Lanark teen Courtney

Officers from Police Scotland are seeking the assistance of the public in an effort to trace a 16-year-old girl, missing from the Kirkmuirhill/Blackwood area of Lanarkshire.

Courtney Semple was last seen about 9.05pm on Saturday night

The teenager has connections to Clydebank, East Kilbride, Larkhall and surrounding areas and is known to frequent both Glasgow and Edinburgh City Centre.

Courtney is described as, 4’8" tall, slim build with blonde hair. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing grey shorts, a white tank top and a black Nike zipper.

Sgt Greig Baxter from Hamilton Police Office, told Lanarkshire Live: "Courtney was reported missing on Saturday June, 19, at around nine o’clock in the evening.

"I would appeal to anyone who may have seen her since then, to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number PS-20210619-4135. Thank you."
