Police are calling for community help to find a man missing from Lake Macquarie.
Dallas Albury was last seen at Rathmines on August 29 and most recently spoke with family members on September 3, police said in an appeal for information on social media.
Lake Macquarie police have begun an investigation into the 28-year-old's whereabouts.
He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 182cm tall, medium build, approximately 100kg in weight with black hair and tattoos on his arms and legs.
Anyone who has seen Mr Albury or knows of his whereabouts is being asked to contact Toronto Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
It comes the same week as an unrelated missing person matter in the Lake Macquarie area was resolved, after a 15-year-old boy who had disappeared was found.
The teenager from Belmont had been last seen at Charlestown on August 24.
