Appeal for dashcam footage after motorcyclist seriously injured in Highland crash

POLICE are appealing for information following a "serious" crash in Glenshee which hospitalised one man.

The incident happened on the A93 Old Military Road at around 3.45pm on Saturday, 6, involving a blue Kawasaki motorcycle and a blue Audi A6.

Emergency services attended, and the rider of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a serious condition. There were no other injuries.

The road was closed for around nine hours to allow enquiries to be carried out and reopened around 12.45am on Sunday.

Sergeant John McDiarmid, of Perth Road Policing, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this crash or who was driving around this time to contact us.

“In addition, anyone with relevant dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch as this may be able to assist.”
