Appeal for a new home for Frankles

Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for a friendly, gentle giant.

Frankles, is an eight-year-old Dog De Bordeaux cross currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.

His carers say he is a playful, energetic boy who will never fail to put a smile on your face with his silly antics.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: "He is very affectionate with his family and is happiest when he is joining you on the sofa for a cuddle or a nice belly rub.

"Frankles loves his walks, though with his size can be strong on his lead. He will be best suited to a strong owner, happy to walk a big dog.

"Frankles likes to spend time pottering around in the garden having a sniff or running around with his favourite ball.

"He can live with children aged 16 and over."

If you think you think you could provide a home for Frankles or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.

You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on twitter @DT_WestCalder or Instagram @ dogstrust_westcalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming.

Please look at the Dogs Trust website for access during the coronavirus outbreak.
