Appeal after woman, 64, knocked to ground and injured at London Bridge station

Police have launched an appeal after a 64-year-old woman was barged to the ground at London Bridge station.

The victim was walking through the Western Arcade towards the Tube on June 21 at 1.55pm when a person ran at her and knocked her to the floor.

The victim suffered a shifted rib cage which will take up to six weeks to heal and requires pain killers and physiotherapy.

The suspect also pushed another woman to the floor on the same day and tried to kick her.

British Transport Police has now released a CCTV image of someone they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

A BTP spokesman said: "Officers believe the person in the CCTV image may have information that could help their investigation.

"If you recognise them, contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 174 of 21/06/20."
