Appeal after pensioner dies in collision near White Hart Lane stadium

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner died in a collision close to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 

The woman pedestrian in her 70s was on White Hart Lane when she was hit by a BMW.

She died in an east London hospital after the incident which happened at just after 6pm on Thursday. 

The driver of the BMW stopped at the scene at the junction of White Hart Lane and Rivulet Road in Haringey and no arrests have been made.

A police statement said: “The pedestrian, aged in her early 70s, was taken to an east London hospital where she died the following day. 

"Her next of kin has been informed.The driver of the white BMW stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made. Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.”
