Appeal after man slaps woman then exposes himself

Police have issued an appeal after a man slapped a woman and exposed himself in Tameside.

Officers say the incident took place at around 11:15pm on Wednesday, April 5, at the junction of Cedar Street and Curzon Road in Ashton-under-Lyne.

The offender is described as a white male about 5ft 7in, of average build and dark brown hair in a fade hairstyle. He is thought to have been wearing all black clothing.

Detectives are urging members of the public with any information to come forward.

In a statement, GMP said: "Officers in Tameside are appealing for information after a man slapped a woman and then exposed himself at around 11:15pm on 05/04/2023 at the junction of Cedar Street and Curzon Road, Ashton-under-Lyne.

"The offender is described as a white male about 5ft 7in tall, of average build and dark brown hair in a fade hairstyle, and was wearing all black clothing. Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 9325.
