Appeal after man rushed to hospital following serious crash on Glasgow road

An appeal has been launched by police after a serious crash on a Glasgow road.

The incident occurred today (October 31) at around 9.45am on the B808, Queen Margaret Drive.

It involved a man on a blue motorcycle and a Silver Vauxhall Vectra at the junction with Clouston Street.

The 23-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Police Scotland are now calling for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.

Sergeant Kenny Malaney, Glasgow’s Road Policing Unit said: “Our enquires into the crash are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash but have not yet spoken to police to come forward.

“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dash cam footage that may help with our enquiries.”

Those with information should contact Road Policing Officers on 101, quoting incident number 0826 of 31 October 2019.
