Appeal after four teenagers stabbed in ‘fight’ in south London

Police are appealing for information after four teenagers suffered stab wounds in a “fight” in south London.

Officers and paramedics were called to reports of a fight with knives in the Brandon Estate, Kennington, at 11.59pm on Saturday and found a boy, believed aged 16, and a man, believed to be 18, with stab wounds.

Both were taken to hospital after the incident close to the estate’s Aberfeldy House off John Ruskin Street, where their injuries were deemed not life-threatening.

A short time later, two boys believed to be 15 and 16 self-presented at hospital with stab injuries. Their injuries have also been assessed as not life threatening.

Officers earlier said one person was stabbed to the chest, one victim to the head and hand, one to the arm and one to the buttocks.

“The 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He has since been bailed to a date in late October,” said a Met spokesperson.

“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
