South Lanarkshire Council's dog warden has picked up a stray in the Hamilton area today (Wednesday, May 6, 2020).
The dog has since been taken to the SSPCA Bothwell Bridge Animal Welfare Centre, on Bothwell Road, Hamilton.
On the council's Twitter feed this afternoon they said: "If this is your dog you can reclaim it by phoning 03000 999 999, option 2 and then option 2 again to be put through to Lanarkshire branch."
