Officers are appealing for witnesses or those with information about a 'suspicious vehicle' seen in the Bilborough area.
At around 7pm on Tuesday, July 14, Nottinghamshire Police were called to Bilborough after 'a large quantity of cash' was thrown out of the window of a silver Golf.
Officers posted a picture on Facebook of the recovered cash notes.
The post by Broxtowe Police: Nottingham City, read: "Appeal: Did you witness a suspicious vehicle in the Bilborough area this evening?
"Shortly after 1900 this evening (14th July 2020) Officers have responded to the area after a silver Golf has been seen to throw a large quantity of cash out of the window.
"If you have any information about the incident please call 101 quoting Incident 0725_14072020."
