Appeal after 74-year-old man 'who can appear confused' goes missing

Police have issued an appeal for help to find a missing man from Stockport.

Harry, 74, was believed to be near Piccadilly in Manchester or the Swinton area of Salford between 8.30pm and 10pm last night (Sunday), GMP said.

He 'can appear confused', they added.

Harry, whose last name has not been provided, is known to use the rail network.

He is described as a white man with a medium build, who is around 6ft tall and has grey collar length hair - sometimes worn in a ponytail.

He was last seen wearing a dark waterproof jacket, light grey knitted woolly hat, denim blue jeans and navy-coloured walking boots.

Police said he was also carrying a dark grey backpack.

Anyone who has any information about Harry's whereabouts is being urged to get in touch with officers.
