Joe Lolley admits that his Nottingham Forest form hasn't yet reached the heights he knows it can, but says he’s doing everything he can do to get back to his best.
The winger came in for some criticism in the aftermath of Wednesday night’s defeat to Hull City at the City Ground, which was the Reds’ second straight Championship defeat.
Having gone unbeaten in 10 games prior to the international break, form which saw Sabri Lamouchi claim the Manager of the Month crowd, Forest have since lost at Wigan, along with the 2-1 reverse to the Tigers on Trentside.
And Lolley, who has so far netted four times in 12 outings for Lamouchi’s Forest, said he was excited for when things do start to click for him in the Garibaldi Red, when questioned by a supporter about his recent form.

“I’m honest and accept I haven’t been at my best for whatever reason, but I’m only one goal down on this time last year (when I apparently wasn’t too bad), so I’m pretty excited for when things click,” he wrote on social media.
“(It) won’t be for a lack of trying anyway,” added the 27-year-old.
Last term, Lolley bagged 12 goals in 51 appearances, becoming a firm favourite on the terraces and was crowned the clubs’ Player of the Season, notching 56 percent of the vote.
