In a massive crossover that I didn’t expect to see in 2025, rumour has it that Big Brother Australia‘s Holly Young has major beef with 2025 Married At First Sight (MAFS) bride Carina Mirabile.
It’s no secret that Holly is one of the most talked-about housemates in Network 10’s reboot of Big Brother Australia. The model has been lighting up the social media feeds with her chats about pretty privilege, her romance with 21-year-old Colin Ridley and her reality TV connections, specifically her Luxe Listings ex, Gavin Rubinstein.
Alongside Rubinstein, it was also revealed that she had a strong bond with MAFS‘ Carina Mirabile, who rose to prominence for her fashion choices and tumultuous ‘marriage’ with Paul Antoine in the 2025 season.
However, insiders have claimed that two reality TV divas are now enemies, and the goss is bloody spicy!
Now, before we jump into it, I do want to establish that the drama between Carina and Holly has yet to be confirmed by either party. So please, take it with a grain of salt.
Why is Big Brother Australia‘s Holly beefing with MAFS‘ Carina?
According to Daily Mail Australia, Carina and Holly first met each other on a 2009 soccer trip in China — a trip that Holly mentioned in the Big Brother house. Since then, the pair became great friends and eventually moved in together in Bondi. However, earlier this year, Holly abruptly moved out of their shared apartment after a heated argument, which completely “blindsided” Carina.
“It’s not a little tiff. Holly fucked Carina over hard,” one insider told the publication.
“What happened between them is something Carina will never forgive.”
Another inside source told Daily Mail Australia that “Holly walked out and didn’t look back” following their argument, adding that Carina was “furious”.
“After everything they shared, it felt like a betrayal,” the insider continued.
“She was rushing to find another roommate after it all went down, and now I think she’s living somewhere else.”
The publication also claimed there were whispers of getting Carina onto Big Brother to repair their relationship. However, it claimed that Network 10 nixed the reunion because it “didn’t want any recognisable personalities this year”.
“This friendship is done. There’s no coming back from this,” another insider dished.
At the time of writing, Carina has not responded to this rumoured feud, and Holly doesn’t even know what’s going on in the headlines as she’s stuck in the Big Brother House.
But if Holly cops an eviction after being head honcho of Big Brother, we’ll be running over, tea mug in hand!
