Season 13 of Apex Legends isn’t far off now, and a fresh face is joining the fray.
On Monday, Respawn released the cinematic launch trailer for Saviors — better known as Apex Legends Season 13, which is coming out May 10, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Origin, and Nintendo Switch. Anyone that’s a fan of the backstory will want to catch this, especially those who love Bangalore. Who doesn’t, though!
It turns out she has a long-lost brother that everyone thought was dead named Newcastle, and he’s the latest roster addition. Anyone that caught that massive Apex Legends leak from several weeks ago will recognize Newcastle’s name. Check out the Apex Legends: Saviors launch trailer below to see the siblings in action.

There’s nothing official on Newcastle’s abilities yet, though Respawn stated that those details are coming closer to Season 13’s release. The official Apex Legends website explains that Newcastle is all about shields. So he’s likely more defensive than Mad Maggie, the most recent legend that was all about offensive strategies. You were probably able to glean that from the trailer, though.
