Apex Legends pro streamer criticises developers who "don't listen to feedback"

A popular Apex Legends pro streamer has spoken out against the developers of the popular battle royale game, accusing them of ignoring the feedback of test players.

Respawn Entertainment is constantly updating Apex Legends with new features to keep players entertained.

However, one professional player has argued that such updates are done at the ignorance of developers.

TSM FTX (Team SoloMid) player, ImperialHal, has claimed Apex Legend's developers often ignore feedback provided to them by professional players, despite the fact they get invited to test run new additions to the game.

One of these controversial features is the Bocek Bow weapon which was introduced last season and had been criticised for having overpowered fire rates and damage.

Another case of Apex Legend's devs being accused of missing the mark was with the release of the new character Revenant in Season 4 where he was seen as disappointing and underpowered compared to how he was advertised pre-release.

Being one of the top Apex Players, winning events 38 times so far, ImperialHal claims the professional community is being ignored.

ImperialHal is one the best performing pros at Apex Legend's events (TSMFTX)

He said on stream: "“From what I’ve heard, there’s a lot of feedback given from the pro players that they [Respawn] just completely disregard. They literally don’t care.”

"Especially stuff with Valkyrie. There was a bunch of stuff with Valkyrie where they [pro players] said ‘you can’t do this and that’… they don’t listen."

ImperialHal went on to explain that the developers aren't doing this out of pure ignorance however.

“It’s funny how the game is so out of touch between competitive and casuals. The two things are so mind boggling that they’re going to nerf Wattson's hotbox and they’re possibly thinking of buffing Gibby,” he said.

“I don’t think they should completely listen to pros, but there’s got to be some common sense. The reasoning behind buffing and nerfing characters makes no sense.”

He has stated he's now considering boycotting the test servers.
