Chicago police are warning Lincoln Park residents to secure their homes after multiple apartments were burglarized in the North Side neighborhood.

In each incident, someone entered an apartment and stole property, Chicago police said, noting that the burglar did not have to use force to get inside.

The burglaries happened in the daytime hours between October 21 and November 1 in:

· The 1700 block of North Clark Street;

· The 2200 block of North Kenmore Avenue;

· The 800 block of West Armitage Avenue; and

· Twice in the 1900 block of North Lincoln Park West;

The suspect in these burglaries is a 6-foot, 180-pound man in his early 20s, police said.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
