
Chicago police are warning residents of two burglaries reported in January in Hyde Park on the South Side.
In each incident, someone broke into an apartment and took property from therein, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The burglaries happened between 9 a.m. and 6:15 p.m Jan. 23, in the 5000 block of South Cornell Avenue and between 10:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Jan. 25, in the 5300 block of South Cornell Avenue, police said.
