Apartments burglarized in Golden Gate: police

Chicago police are warning Golden Gate residents about a series of recent apartment burglaries in the Far South Side neighborhood.

In each incident, someone entered an apartment through a window and stole property such as electronics and clothing, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened at all hours of the day between Sept. 9 and Oct. 12 in:

· The 13200 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue;

· The 13300 block of South Eberhart Avenue;

· The 13100 block of South Langley Avenue; and

· The 13200 block of South Langley Avenue.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call Area South detectives at 312-747-8273.
