
Police are warning Northwest Siders about a spate of apartment burglaries reported over the last few weeks in Albany Park.
In each incident, someone entered the apartment through a window, according to a community alert from Chicago police. Property was taken from inside the apartments in all but one incident.
The burglaries happened:
- At 9:30 p.m. May 21 in the 4800 block of North Kimball Avenue
- At 9 a.m. June 4 in the 4800 block of North Christiana Avenue
- At 11:40 a.m. June 8 in the 4800 block of North Kimball Avenue
- Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 8 in the 4700 block of North Spaulding Avenue
- Between 8 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. June 11 in the 5100 block of North Albany Avenue.
Police describe the suspect in the June 8 burglary on Kimball as a male.
