VISAKHAPATNAM: The fourth round of sero survey by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in Andhra Pradesh has found 70% people, who were tested as part of the survey, have developed antibodies against Covid-19.
The survey was conducted in 70 districts in 21 states between June14 and July 6. Krishna, Nellore and Vizianagaram were among the districts. While Madhya Pradesh leads with 79% seroprevalence, Kerala
(44.4%) has the least antibodies among surveyed states. The all-India average is about 67%.
Some 1,260 random blood samples were collected from various groups in AP.
