Black Friday shopping tips

Do your research - To ensure you get the best possible Black Friday offers, make a list of all the items you’d ideally like to buy, prioritise them and most importantly stick to your list. This will prevent you from overspending but you can still purchase everything you ideally need whilst saving the most amount of money. Also, many online retailers will have customer reviews, so you can do your homework and make sure you choose the best products.
Sign up - Register for online accounts with retailers ahead of the event so you can be the first to know about deals. Most retailers offer a sign-up service so that you can enter your email address and be notified as soon as the bargains go live, saving you time and giving you a gentle reminder so that you don’t miss out.
Get on the retailers apps and social media - Follow the retailers you want to hear about for their upcoming discounts and offers during Black Friday. You can also download the app and set up a notification so you are aware of any new deals that launch. This way you can avoid being disappointed and will get first dibs on the deal.
Timing is everything - Due to the large volume of visitors last year, some websites crashed before customers could grab their deal. Be ahead of the game and shop at times that would be typically quieter to avoid this happening and enjoy a smoother online shopping experience.
