'Anyone lost a Range Rover? It's on a golf course'

A Range Rover was found abandoned in the middle of a golf course.

The black car appeared to be stuck in a ditch at Horwich Golf Course, with its back wheels trapped.

There was no driver in the vicinity when the car was discovered by a member of the public on Sunday morning.

It is not clear when the car was left there or who it belongs to. The driver's side window has been left slightly open.

Jonathan Wood stumbled upon the vehicle on Horwich Golf Course at around 9.45am.

He said: "Anyone lost a Range Rover? It's on Horwich Golf Course."

Mr Wood said he had notified a member of golf club staff. The MEN contacted Horwich Golf Course for comment.
