Anya Hindmarch urges Londoners to plant LED roses in charity garden

Anya Hindmarch is urging people to remember loved ones by planting illuminated roses in Grosvenor Square and at the same time raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Thousands have already been planted at the Ever After Garden which she created in memory of her friend, set designer Michael Howells, who designed the film Ever After.

Entry to the installation is free but visitors can make a donation of £10 to plant an illuminated silk flower, with all the money going to the hospital.

She said: “It finishes on December 22 and it is one of those things that looks even better as it goes on and more people plant a flower.”
