Anwyl Homes starts phase two of Anglesey estate where it says most properties are going to locals

Anwyl Homes has started work on a new parcel of land for 46 homes in Holyhead.

The new site is the second phase of Anwyl’s Tyddyn Bach development, off South Stack Road.

They say the estate is hugely popular with local buyers - with 85% of homes so far sold to people who already live on the island or close by, many of them first-time homeowners.

Ewloe-based Anwyl Homes will now erect an additional 42 homes for private sale plus four affordable properties for social rent. They will also contribute £60,000 towards affordable housing locally.

They are already on the market and will be ready to move into in May / June 2021.

Phil Dolan, Anwyl’s managing director in North Wales, said: “We’re excited to start work on a new wave of homes at Tyddyn Bach.

"Our first phase of 124 homes continues to meet with strong demand from Anglesey homebuyers keen to put down roots in such a well-connected location and close to some of the island’s most scenic beaches."
