Anupamaa Dayal and Anand Bhushan stun on Day 2 of Delhi Times Fashion Week

Delhi Times that has deeply influenced the fashion scene in the city is now treating Delhiites with their very own fashion extravaganza. The 3 days event poses the perfect occasion to bring all fashionistas of the metro under one roof as Delhi's fashion biggest night promises to showcase exuberant collections adorned by models and celebrities alike. The Day 2 of the fashion extravaganza saw amazing fashion showcase by Delhi's leading designers.

Day 2 began with classy fashion showcases by designer Anand Bhushan, Anupamaa Dayal and Kazo.

Anand impressed all with 'LITTLE' his Autumn 2021 offering. A year and a half of a global pandemic has taught us that a little bit goes a long way. A little ray of hope in the darkness is all that we need to grasp, and move towards the light. ‘Little’ is inspired by the family of Kalanchoe flowers, a native of Madagascar, but with cousins all over the world. These little foot soldiers of flora are hardy and grow on nearly all terrains. Individually, their beauty is easy to miss. Collectively, they colour the world. ‘Little’ is about the hidden strength in what we consider fragile. As the world opens up again, let us celebrate together in their colour.

"I have always had an overwhelming urge to create. Or at least leave my imprint. On a piece of paper, on a table, in a room , in a garden... Most of all , on a piece of cloth and then use bits of that cloth to express myself. Sometimes one piece of cloth feels like a saga when the need is to express short stories . Patchwork has always been my medium then. It’s taken care of my need to be eclectic , eccentric, artistic, chaotic , expansionist or frugal , multicultural . As I race through all the avatars that I am , only a collage will do. And then suddenly the world seems to need just this . The hierarchy of fashion seasons etc. seems to be bowing down to the simple but necessary need to provide comfort and intimacy . With about 20 years of handmade patterned fabric spilling out of every crevice in my studio , home , workshops and memories I feel as though I gently paste slices of my soul as I patch As we are all dependent. I start where you finish . I have distinct colours and beauty of my own but I look best when I am close to your own powerful individuality. Your bold stripes are a perfect juxtaposition for my mad flowers and her ditsy floral for his oversized dots. She mystifies with her crazed psychedelics but he stands tall with his monochrome . We create from our bonds a tapestry of love, joy, fearlessness and laughter. Shall we close the gaps between us? Cihanuma is a Turkish/ Persian/ Indian word meaning a window overlooking the world," read Anupamaa Dayal's collection note about Cihanumma 22, her latest collection.

Kazo showcased an interesting line perfect for all the party lovers.
