Antrim's Jordan Brown dominates Stephen Maguire to reach Welsh Open final

Jordan Brown continued his dream run at Celtic Manor by thumping Stephen Maguire 6-1 to reach the Welsh Open final.

The world number 81 from Antrim fired a 135 total clearance in the opening frame and compiled another century in a dominant display.

Brown’s previous best performance in a ranking event had come at last month’s German Masters where he reached the last eight.

In Sunday’s final Brown will face either Ronnie O’Sullivan or Mark Williams, who meet in the second semi-final this evening.
