The Hospice Shop in Antrim has been targeted in an arson attack tonight.
The shop suffered damage after bags of donations left outside the premises at Castle Mall were set on fire.
A PSNI spokesman said: " Police in Antrim are appealing for information following an arson at the Hospice Shop, Castle Mall, Antrim. It is suspected someone has left some bags of clothing for donation outside, which have subsequently been set alight.

"This has caused considerable damage to the shop and will undoubtedly affect the services and support that the charity shop provides.
"I would ask anyone who considers these actions appropriate to reconsider and think about the consequences of senseless acts like this.
"If anyone has any information please contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1347 of 21/03/2019."
