Antony Starr says role in The Boys has been the highlight of his career

Antony Starr has bid an emotional farewell to his character Homelander after filming wrapped for the fifth and final season of the superhero satire The Boys.
Starr, who has portrayed the twisted superhero since 2019, described the role as the highlight of his career and expressed deep gratitude to the cast, crew, and fans.
The New Zealand-born actor praised the 'insane' show for its unique place in television, acknowledging its gore and satirical bite.
The final season of The Boys is expected to be released on Amazon Prime next year.
Starr previously dismissed comparisons between his character Homelander and Donald Trump, labelling them 'low-hanging fruit'.
