Antonio Rudiger in Paul Pogba 'bite' row as UEFA Euro 2020 Germany vs France incident caught on camera

Antonio Rudiger has been caught on camera appearing to bite Paul Pogba during Germany's clash with France.

Towards the end of the first half of the Euro 2020 clash the Manchester United midfielder was furious that the officials did not check the incident.

The German defender was goal side as he stayed close to his French counterpart and tried to limit movement.

Pogba reacted immediately in pain and the linesman rushed over to the pair on the pitch.

However, the the replays seemingly show a bizarre incident that Rudiger appeared to in fact bite Pogba on the back.

Pundit Ian Wright said of the Chelsea man: “Rudiger should be minding his own business - why’s he getting drawn into that and chasing people? It's child-like, trying to chase the ball. It’s a really poor goal.”

Ally McCoist, who is on co-commentary duty, added it "wasn't friendly" and called the incident "strange."
