Antonio returns, Hernandez axed - predicted West Ham lineup vs Manchester United

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini isn't expected to make too many changes to his team to take on Man Utd this weekend from the one that lost to Chelsea on Monday.

One player he will definitely be without though is Samir Nasri, who is ruled out with a calf muscle injury he picked up during a half time warm up at Stamford Bridge.

The boss said there were no other injury concerns at his pre-match press conference on Thursday with Michail Antonio expected to be fit having missed the Chelsea defeat with a minor ankle problem.

That in turn shouldn't mean too many changes though he will need to make a decision up front as to whether Javier Hernandez or Marko Arnautovic leads the line. The Austrian had his best 45 minutes for some time on Monday night when he was played through the middle and Hernandez was withdrawn.

Fabian Balbuena made his comeback from injury in Monday’s loss but looked back to his old self so he should start this weekend against United.

Here is how we think the Hammers could line up.

There is just the one change in our team from the one that started against the Blues and that is the recall for Antonio after his injury.

United will be without suspended left back Luke Shaw for the game so Antonio’s inclusion is logical. There is a case for Grady Diangana potentially playing instead but Antonio’s seniority should win out.

We have taken Chicharito out of our side to take on the Mexican’s former employers, with Arnautovic playing through the middle of the front three.

Elsewhere on the pitch, it’s as you were from Monday night.
