Antonio Conte needs to buck up his ideas and get on with it at Tottenham after he threatened to leave the club on Wednesday night.
That's the view of pundit Gabby Agbonlahor who blasted the former Inter and Chelsea boss for his outburst after their defeat to Burnley.
Conte only joined the club in November and has had a mixed start in North London after replacing Nuno Espirito Santo.
They turned in one of their best performances of the season at the weekend to beat Premier League leaders Manchester City, but it was back to square one on Wednesday night with a dreary defeat to Burnley leaving them eighth in the table - albeit with games in hand on the top five.
An emotional Conte told press after the game that he would be discussing his future with the club and things "can't continue" as they are.
And while there has been plenty of sympathy for the outspoken Italian, who led Inter to the Serie A title last season, pundit Agbonlahor said on TalkSPORT that he needs to stand up for his players and "get on with it".
"You've been brought in to do a job. He got two of the players he wanted in Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur - get on with it.
"Two wins in the two games in hand you've got on Manchester United and you're one point behind them.
"Where's the fight? Where's the love that Spurs fans want to see?
"You've lost to Burnley away, it happens. A cold, windy, wet night in Burnley, you won't be the only team that loses there.
"Stop moaning, stop doing your silly, stupid interviews and get on with it.
"If it was me I'd be knocking on his door and saying 'gaffer, we need you, you can't be doing this. Stick with us.'"
A defeated Conte said after their loss to Burnley: "In the last five games we lost four games. I think nobody deserves this type of situation, but this is the reality.
"There will be assessment about the club and about me, because for me this situation is very frustrating.
"I am really sorry for this situation, especially for the fans – who really do not deserve this.
"The club has to make an assessment to understand what is the best solution.
"This club has changed coaches, but the players are always the same, and the results have not changed.
"I cannot accept continuing to lose."
