Antonio Conte has begun a war of words with fellow former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.
Both managers are now at the helm of top sides in the Serie A, with Sarri having left Chelsea to take over at Juventus.
The reigning champions are widely expected to retain the title thanks to their talented squad which Sarri has mostly inherited.
Conte, meanwhile, has had to make some major summer moves to bolster his Inter Milan team, with Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez switching to the San Siro.
Despite the seemingly large gulf in squad quality, Sarri has been the first to complain about a 'complicated situation' which led to Juventus' 0-0 draw with Fiorentina this weekend.
"We didn’t put in a good quality performance, it was a very complicated situation, as Fiorentina played well and we used up all our substitutions with injuries and had no more fresh legs to introduce," Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.
"With all those variables, we did well in terms of character to get a point out of it. We lost possession too many times, which may also be a consequence of physical issues.
"Playing in mid-afternoon in Florence when it’s realistically still summer is tough for everyone."
Conte couldn't stop himself from firing back at Sarri when asked about the fellow Italian's comments.
"I don’t want to say anything, otherwise we’ll have to start comparing balance sheets and financial resources," Conte added. "Someone ought to calm down, as he’s on the powerful side now."
