Antonio Conte sends Everton manager hint after Tottenham Hotspur reports

Antonio Conte has revealed he will look at 'projects' for his next club management job and admitted he likes 'difficult challenges'.

Conte left Inter Milan this summer after guiding them to their first Serie A title since 2010 with a squad that boasted Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen.

The former Chelsea and Italy manager has since been linked with the vacant positions at Everton and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Tottenham appear close to appointing ex-Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk chief Paulo Fonseca but Conte warned he must be 'convinced' by any club looking to hire his services as Everton continue to search for a Carlo Ancelotti replacement.

The 51-year-old is quoted as telling Gazzetta dello Sport: "Money is not my obsession.

"I look at projects and I'm ready to stay at home if they don't convince me.

"I like difficult challenges but if there is something with a club that does not convince me, I prefer to say: no, thank you."
