Antonio Conte has hailed Harry Kane as one of the world's best players after being appointed the new Tottenham boss.
The Italian has arrived in north London having rejected the chance to take over back in the summer.
He inherits a team sitting in ninth, five points off the top four but with ambitions to qualify for next season's Champions League.
If Conte is to make this season a successful one for Tottenham then he will need to get Kane back firing again.

The striker has scored just once in the Premier League this term and looks disinterested.
Kane pushed for a summer exit as Manchester City made moves to sign him but Tottenham resisted, which appears to have angered their No 10.

Conte though has made his feelings clear on the England forward.
"I consider him as one of the best players in the world," he said.
Kane was at his best when Conte was in charge at Chelsea and he saw the forward net against his side in the 2017 FA Cup semi-final.
The 28-year-old has continued to go from strength to strength, topping the charts for most goals and most assists last term.
This season though it has been a different story with the striker struggling to influence games.
Kane was booed by sections of the Tottenham crowd during their 3-0 defeat to Manchester United, which proved to be Nuno Espirito Santo's last game.
Conte has previously discussed how he sees Kane being most effective during his stint as a Euro 2020 pundit.
The Tottenham academy graduate has made a habit of dropping deep to link play, but the Italian thinks he is more effective as a conventional No 9, staying in and around the 18 yard area.
He said: "Many praise Harry Kane for his ability to go get the ball and play with the team, such as with the equaliser against Denmark.

"Of course, he’s good at that too, but it’s in the box where he’s clinical and as a coach, I would always keep him in there because he’s devastating."
Conte will want to iron out Kane's long-term future sooner rather than later.
The striker's contract runs until 2024 and the club are under no pressure to sell, but Kane may again force the issue in the summer.
Tottenham's new manager has signed an 18 months deal and will no doubt want to keep his striker for the duration of his tenure.
