Tottenham boss Antonio Conte reckons this weekend's pre season clash against Rangers will be a 'big test' for his side.
Ibrox will no doubt be jumping on Saturday as to London club travel to Govan. Gio van Bronckhorst' s men welcome the English Premier League side in their final pre season clash of the summer. But the 'friendliness' is sure to be forgotten when the whistle blows.
And Spurs boss Conte is expecting a tough tie this weekend as he looks forward to the 'amazing atmosphere' provided by the Ibrox home support. The Italian gaffer talked up the Light Blues, deemed the weekend's match both a big and difficult game. In an interview for SpursPlay, the boss insisted his side will be facing a 'really good team' in Glasgow.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's game, the Spurs boss said: "It's a big game and, for sure, the atmosphere will be amazing. When you play away against Rangers or against Celtic it's always very difficult because you play in an amazing atmosphere.
"But it will be a good test for us because, for sure, we're talking about a really good team. They lost the final of the Europa League last season and in the last friendly game they have beaten West Ham 3-1. So it will be a good test for us in a moment when we are working hard. But, at the same time, we want to play a good game and to try to be fit for the start of the season.
"For many reasons it will be a good test but we are Tottenham and we have to face every game in the right way - to try to get a win in every game."
