Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho committed ultimate Chelsea sin that Thomas Tuchel can't repeat

There's that feeling of betrayal circling the Chelsea fan base again. No, it is not another player choosing to sign with their north London rivals, Arsenal. No, it's not a Jose Mourinho return to the Premier League.

This time it's an Antonio Conte slap in the face. The Italian has officially signed the papers and has become the newest manager for Tottenham Hotspur.

I cannot say that I am surprised, but that doesn't make it sting just a little bit.

Is there no manager out there who feels a sense of loyalty to Chelsea football club, or are we asking for too much? All things said, Conte did manage to sue Chelsea and leave a sour taste in the majority of the fan base.

Nonetheless, there needs to be an unspoken code for our managers going forward. Can you imagine a Thomas Tuchel to Arsenal announcement in five years?

It has been a tough road with all our former managers. Conte, Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti have all returned to the Premier League after their run at the Bridge. Some returns stung less than others.

For example, Ancelotti returning to manage Everton had no bearing on me. It was actually nice to see our Premier League winner turn Everton into a threatening side. Gave them their first win at Anfield in God knows how long. It was quite a beautiful story.

On the other hand, watch Mourinho switch to Manchester United, win silverware then switch to Tottenham Hotspur with the eagerness to win again... That hurt, that hurt a lot.

Despite the rumours on how Conte treated the Chelsea players in his 2015/16 season and his falling out with the board, the legacy that he had created became tainted once he joined Spurs. Several fans, including myself, still recognise him as one of Chelsea's greatest ever. However, some are not as forgiving.

As the rumours turn to reality, Conte is the lastest ex-boss to shatter his relationship with Chelsea fans. Once hailed and respected for coming into a team that finished 10th and turning them into a Premier League winning side in the next, it was going to be hard to burn bridges.

If his second season at Chelsea wasn't bad enough, he decided to sue Chelsea for unfair dismissal. The serial winner that he is, he also won the case. It is not the best note to leave a club on however several fans, including myself, remained respectful towards his legacy. Two years, two trophies and a first season that the Premier League will never forget.

Now, I try not to get too attached to managers anymore. I have learnt my lesson. I was not attached to Maurizio Sarri, nor was I attached to Frank Lampard (the manager not the player). Once both of these managers parted ways with the club, I was able to let go and move on. Lampard remains as one of Chelsea's top legends ever and Sarri will forever be known as the man who beat Arsenal in a European cup Final.

On the contrary, Thomas Tuchel has become hard to ignore. He has unintentionally built a strong relationship with the fan base because he doesn't make excuses. He has such a winning mentality that cannot be questioned.

I'll tell you for free, Tuchel cannot go to a rival team in future. Maybe we will have to protest to keep him at Chelsea if there is a case where the board look to sack him - the previous history suggests it's very much so possible.

He has been a breath of fresh air for the Chelsea faithful's so if he was to leave and sign for our rivals... that would be the breaking point for me. This includes new money Newcastle. Don't let this happen!
