Antonio Colak Rangers transfer clue decoded by Ibrox sleuths as bubbling Werder Bremen rumour hit with kit theory

Rangers fans reckons the future of Antonio Colak could already be cleared up amid swirling talk of a move to Werder Bremen.

That comes after the latest away kit reveal by the Ibrox club. The future of the Croat is seemingly up in the air amid Michael Beale's Ibrox overhaul - with the frontman netting just three times since the Londoner's arrival with outgoing Alfredo Morelos and Fashion Sakala leading the line during an injury-hampered end to the Scottish Premiership campaign.

He started the season as first-choice striker under Gio van Bronckhorst with Colombian Morelos struggling for form - but reports suggest the Ibrox side were willing to let the striker leave this summer just 12 months after he arrived from PAOK with Sam Lammers arriving - and Cyriel Dessers also high up on the agenda. Reports in Germany claim that Werder Bremen have the striker on their radar as they look boost their firepower for the new campaign.

However, some fans reckon they have cracked the code which could mean that Colak remains at Rangers. Colak has been included in the away kit launch materials - leading some to believe he could remain at the club. One punter said: "When the club uses players in their advertising for the upcoming season or strips, it's usually players who they believe will be involved ... So Colak?"

Another chimed in: "I hope he’s still involved. His goals return is excellent. I know folk say he isn’t suited to Beale's style, but we need to have a Plan B and C." A fellow Rangers fan added: "I hope so. We have a proven goalscorer, yet seem quite intent on trying to find a different one."

However, other supporters noted examples of exiting players involved in the advertising campaign in an attempt to debunk the theory. One tweeted: "Messi was the poster boy for the new PSG kit so I doubt it." Another responded to the initial social media post: "Not always. Celtic used Ajer the year he was leaving I remember."
