Welcome back to the active roster, Antonio Callaway!
The speedy wideout has been activated from the suspended list after serving his four-game banishment for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Callaway sat out the first four weeks as punishment.
Now that he’s cleared to play by the league, Callaway provides a new vertical threat for Baker Mayfield and the passing offense. He’s the Browns’ fastest receiver and had some success as a rookie stretching the field. Callaway could also factor in as a return man, something he did during training camp.
The Browns had a roster opening for Callaway after placing LB Willie Harvey on injured reserve on Friday.
